The Redbud Warm-Up!
Friday April 12, 2013 – Barbourville, KY
This year, our friends in nearby Barbourville, Kentucky, will present the Redbud Warm-Up on Friday, April 12, at 12:00 p.m. Registration for The Redbud Warm-Up will open at 10:00 a.m. The Redbud Warm-Up coincides with Barbourville’s Redbud Festival and will begin at scenic Union College. You may register for the Redbud Warm-Up for only $25 ($20 before January 15) while registering for the Redbud Ride. This gently rolling route, will be approximately 40 miles, making for a great afternoon! Registration includes a couple SAG Stops, a complimentary Warm-Up T-shirt, and a great afternoon in Barbourville. A wonderful way to start the weekend!
The Redbud Ride
Saturday April 13, 2013- London, KY
The Redbud Ride will prove to be one of the most beautiful and challenging bike rides you've ever completed! The ride starts in beautiful downtown London, Kentucky. View the best scenery that Kentucky has to offer, including one of the top 10 redbud sight-seeing routes in the state!
Our terrific staff and well stocked SAG stops will make this ride worth every penny. SAG stops located about every 15 miles. We’ve been known to have some very exciting SAG stops with great volunteers and delicious food!
Registration is only $30 before April 6th. You can also save an addition $5 on registration (only $25) if you register before January 15th. After April 6th, registration is $40. The Redbud Ride offers four routes that will be sure to please everyone.
In 2011, the ride was chosen as Tour Southern and Eastern Kentucky Sporting Event of the Year. Active.com also recognized the event as the “Century Ride of the Year.”
Ride Details
The ride starts at 8:00 AM. Registration begins at 7:00 AM or you can register online and avoid the long registration lines!
There will be SAG stops approximately every 15 miles where snacks and refreshments will be provided.
